Who Are We?
Jake Ben Suazo brings over two decades of professional experience as an actor, educator, and improv specialist. With a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Northern Illinois University, where he specialized in the Meisner technique, and a Bachelor of Arts from Utah Valley University, Jake combines performance expertise with a passion for teaching and innovation.
Jake’s extensive improv background includes 25 years with ComedySportz and training with renowned institutions such as Improv Olympic, The Groundlings, Impro Theatre, and Second City. As a founding member of The Thrillionaires Improv Musical Theatre, Jake developed cutting-edge approaches to spontaneous performance.
Currently, Jake serves as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University, teaching improv and fostering creativity through play. His corporate workshops are designed to leverage the principles of improvisation to enhance communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. By encouraging a “yes, and” mindset, Jake helps individuals and organizations embrace adaptability, innovation, and confidence in tackling challenges.

Julie Suazo brings over 20 years of experience in performance, theatre creation, and education to her role as a professional improv trainer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts from Utah Valley University, where her talent was recognized with four Irene Ryan Award nominations.
Julie has a rich background in youth theatre education, having taught and directed full-stage productions for five years with Scera Youth Theatre and UVU’s summer youth programs. Her extensive teaching experience fuels her passion for helping others unlock their creativity and confidence through performance.
As a corporate improv trainer, Julie leverages her theatrical expertise to help teams enhance collaboration, communication, and adaptability. Her engaging workshops focus on fostering a creative mindset, encouraging participants to think on their feet, and building stronger connections in the workplace.
